摘要:
中美关系作为当今世界最重要的双边关系之一,受到了广泛关注。本研究以语用身份论为理论框架,从澳媒建构的美国身份类型、使用的话语策略以及语用动机三个方面探讨了澳媒对美国形象的话语建构。澳媒对美国形象的“他塑”可以更好地揭示美国的国家战略意图和意识形态以及澳大利亚的国际政治立场和意识形态,同时也可以为语用身份论研究提供一些新的话语证据。
Abstract:
As one of the most important bilateral relationships in the world, Sino-US relations have received extensive attention and coverage. Based on the self-built corpus of reports on Sino-US relations by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, this study adopts the pragmatic identity theory as the theoretical framework to explore the identity types, discursive strategies of identity construction and the underlying pragmatic motivations. The“other-constructed” America image can better reveal America’s national strategic intentions and ideology and Australia’s international political stance and ideology, as well as provide some new discourse evidence for pragmatic identity theory.
