个别谈话是辅导员了解学生情绪变化和思想动态的主要途径之一,辅导员语用身份的选择会在一定程度上影响个别谈话的效果,甚至影响其在学生心目中的形象以及彼此之间的关系,然而现有关于身份建构的研究鲜少关注此类互动实践。本研究以6次个别谈话的录音转写语料为基础,结合回溯访谈,对辅导员选择非职业身份的类别及其背后的动机进行了探究。研究发现,辅导员在个别谈话中除了选择教育者、管理者、服务者等默认的职业身份之外,还会选择诸如个人、对方、朋友、学生和家长等非职业身份。辅导员作出上述身份选择的动机在于平衡各方面的诉求,建构民主、和谐、平等的新时代新型师生关系。
Abstract:
Individual consultation is an important venue for student advisors to inquire about the students’ change of mood and state of mind. How they properly choose appropriate identities to talk with their students may largely affect the effectiveness of the consultation and even their image in their students’ mind as well as their interpersonal relations with them. Yet, little attention has been paid to the interactional practices of identity construction in this genre of communication. Based on the analysis of first-hand data, coupled with retrospective interviews, this study explores the choice of non-professional identities as well as their underlying motivations. It finds that the student advisors may choose to construct, apart from professional identities such as an educator and administrator, some non-professional identities such as an individual, an interlocutor, a friend, a student, and a family member. Their motivations behind the identity strategy include the effort to balance their various communicative needs and that to construct a new type of advisor-student relation characterized by democracy, harmony and equality.
